I have been beading for over 6 years and crafting my whole life. (although not all my projects have been a success ------- trying and having fun has been the best part........yeah right......no really, it has been a fun journey.) My love for beads was inspired from a sister-in-law and a dear friend who took the time to teach me a few simples steps and from there I have been learning and creating ever since.
I started KC Beads March 2009 and it has been quite the Journey ever since. I have learned a lot about myself and have met some fantastic people who have really inspired me.
I have a wonderful Husband who embraces my crazy ideas but keeps me grounded and realistic. I have 3 Spunky boys who I adore and believe me there is never a dull moment in our crazy life.
I feel inspired by magazines, fashion I see on my favorite shows, the colors I see outside, fashion trends, friends, visiting new places, and anything that motivates me to think outside the box.
Some of my favorite beads to work with are Turquoise, Pearls of all shapes and sizes, Crystals, Crystals and more Crystals, Seed Beads, Pendants, Gemstones, and some acrylic. I have a passion or "obsession" for this right now so I hope you enjoy this journey with me.
I am grateful for my cute family, sisters, a brother, fabulous parents, my in-laws, great friends, and my Faith that keeps me going in the right direction.
